We have been serving Livingston County and the surrounding areas since 1954! Our Painting and Decorating Company is family owned and operated. We are located in Livingston County Michigan but we also service Washtenaw and Western Oakland Counties. Zaske's Painting & Decorating is also a Member of the Painting & Decorating Contractors Association of America.
In 1954, my father founded the company in Brighton. I took over in 1971 and have been running the business ever since. We do mostly residential repaints, but also do new construction, commercial, and industrial painting. We strive to learn as much about the painting industry as possible and have been members of The Painting and Decorating Contractors of America, Washtenaw County Chapter, since 1975. I recently completed my fourth term as president. We have attended many seminars on different aspects of the painting industry as well as business seminars given by the state and national councils of PDCA. We pass our knowledge on to our customers by helping them with their color choices, finish choices, and what to look for in a quality painting contractor.
Zaske’s Painting was voted the best painting contractor in Livingston County by the Livingston County Press reader’s choice poll.
Hanging and removing wallpaper, repairing and texturing drywall both by hand or spray finish are some of the services we provide. If minor carpentry repairs are needed, we can fix most of them or get you in touch with a qualified contractor who can. We paint everything inside and outside your home or business, including epoxy floors, cabinets, walls and ceilings, aluminum and vinyl siding, as well as concrete and deck staining.
We have a large portfolio of faux finishes and are always learning new ones. We also hang anaglypta wallcovering( the type you paint) and are able to apply today’s popular metallic finishes.
